We will be drawing (pun intended) attention to the lack of freedom of the press and freedom of speech in Malaysia. More specifically we hope to draw attention to the Malaysian government's banning of editorial cartoons by well-known cartoonist Zunar and other Malaysian editorial cartoonists.

You can learn more about Zunar's free speech struggle from our previous news alert titled Malaysian High Court Upholds Detention of Editorial Cartoonist Zunar But Finds Unlawful the Continued Confiscation by Police of Copies of Cartoon-O-Phobia.
